Grateful

Firts with the results from the US presidential elections!

What a relief... and lots of laughs from the many funny caricatural Trump video's.

Someone said yesterday on tv: Love won and prevails from hate ! :)

Although alarming how many insane voters he has... hopefully they realise how mad Trump is...

Recently I read the book Brave New World from Aldous Huxley, from 1932, from almost a Century ago, which parallel with present History time, remind us how conditioned we are to accept unacceptabel things.

In 2020 we live in a tv screen as 1984 from George Orwell written in 1949.

Animal Farm reflects hypocrite, human corruption.

I was curious which other books Aldous Huxley had written and I found out he was friend with J. Krishnamurti, I read one of his books when I was a teenager, who influenced my decision to study Philosophy. But for my surprise we did study only Western Philosophers...

I am not a compulsive reader, but from time to time I love to read, from Harry Potter, cartoons from Barbapapa, fantasy serie books to impressive intelligent human analytical books Sapiens, Homo Deus and 21 lessen voor de 21ste Century from Yuval Noah Harari, his last book press us to act decisive now for to handle the transition time of using our brains or to let be decided, manipulate through AI.

Utopia for Realists from Rutger Bregman positive ideas of how basic income could help humanity to develop to a better direction.

Other Minds The Octopus and the Evolution of Inteligent Life which show how little we know about intelligence of other animals, from Peter Godfrey Smith.

The Garden Jungle or Gardening to Save the Planet, Auteur: Dave Goulson who easily tells the importance of our gardens ecosystem.

The Field from Lynne MacTaggart connects science beyond all we sense to how we are all connected.

Victor Hugo Les Travailleurs de la mer made me long time ago a very deep impression about introspection. The Power of Mith from Joseph Campbell introduced me to amazing new associations, and many others... I just read Mithos from Stephen Fry and surprises me how much Greek miths are used in Fairy Tales, biblical stories, as Noah's Ark... city names, ... legendes, miths, stories methafors are sometimes taken to literal, and dangerous is the fanatism that chains agression...

So many inspiring writters! To let reflection, discussions, words, influence to an extend is inspiring. But to excessive point is empriosioning. I regard my own intuitions with respect and let mix with my thoughts, seek for balance.

I am grateful to keep learning from books, films, experiences, intuitions, images, around, nature...

I try to play the wonderful music from Heitor Villa Lobos Bachianas 5, wish could play Trenzinho do Caipira, Egberto Gismonti version, wonderful. Wish had this partiture. I am fortunated, wish basic income become reality in this strange time transition and people may develop in peace with our planet.
